Rakul Preet Singh is a popular actress both in the South film industry and Bollywood. Apart from her work in films, the actress is also known for her fitness and healthy lifestyle. She was born in an army household and leading a disciplined and active lifestyle was ingrained in her right from her childhood. The actor has a deep rooted love for sports and has trained in various sports including swimming, horse riding, and golf among others.
In an interview with Elle India, Rakul Preet Singh opened up about her love for sports and how her parents inculcated the importance of sports in her and her brother’s life. “My parents had put us in every possible coaching and sport class! They said you should be a jack of all and master of one (laughs). And my mom always felt that there should be nothing that we didn’t know. So, from horse-riding to tennis to swimming, you name it and we’ve been coached for it.”
Talking further about her favourite sport, Rakul said, “Golf. My father always said that golf is parallel to life; it teaches you so much about life. Your score here purely depends on you. You can never give up hope or become overconfident, because till the last shot, there is a chance that the game may change.”
Meanwhile on the work front, Rakul will next be seen in the film Sardar Ka Grandson alongside Arjun Kapoor and Neena Gupta. The film will be released on Netflix this summer.
