The scene was modified to show Hrithik and Ameesha merely touching their lips to the champagne bottle instead of actually drinking, a compromise that satisfied the censors and ensured the film’s release.
Despite these minor hurdles, Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai emerged as a monumental success. The soulful music, composed by Rajesh Roshan, with unforgettable tracks like "Na Tum Jano Na Hum" and "Ek Pal Ka Jeena," added to the film’s appeal.
