Sunny Deol's younger son, Rajveer Deol, is all set to step into the world of cinema with his debut film, Dono. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Rajveer shared his thoughts on not being launched by his own family, unlike his elder brother Karan Deol, who made his debut in 2019 with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, directed by their father, Sunny Deol.

Rajveer acknowledged that there was no discussion about his family launching him. Reflecting on Karan's experience, Rajveer asserted, “I was prepping up so there was no discussion that my family was going to launch me. After Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas was released, I saw him going through his (Karan) all-time low. So my biggest challenge is having a fear of not earning it on your own and making it on your own.”

He expressed his desire to earn success through his own efforts, stating, "So when Dono happened, I am glad that they asked me to audition as I don’t want to feel that I am not worth it."

When asked about any advice he received from Karan, Rajveer shared their close bond, describing how they communicate almost telepathically. Karan conveyed his satisfaction with Rajveer's decision to be launched outside the family. Rajveer appreciated the independence he gained by being part of Dono, which was not a Deol family production.

Apart from Rajveer, the film is also the debut for Paloma Dhillon, daughter of veteran actress Poonam Dhillon. Directed by Avnish S Barjatya and produced under Rajshri Productions, Dono is slated to release on October 5.
