Rajkumar Hirani attends Manoj Gursahani’s book launch The Human Connect; calls author “Perfect person” : Bollywood News

With three National Film Awards and eleven Filmfare Awards, Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most successful filmmakers of Indian cinema. His last directorial Sanju, which was released in 2018, turned out to be Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest hit. The filmmaker is once again all set to don the hat of the director with an upcoming film, titled Dunki and starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. While a section of fans is eagerly waiting for the film to release, Rajkumar recently made a public appearance as he attended a book launch event of author Manoj Gursahani.

During the launch event of The Human Connect, Rajkumar lauded the writer and asserted, “I feel Manoj completely personifies the name of this book as he effortlessly forges strong connections with every person he meets. He radiates the energy of a highly trustworthy, good human being. I think he is the perfect person to write a book on human connections, which is something all of us need to find happiness in this universe.”

Coming to the professional front, the 60-year-old writer-turned-director, as mentioned above, is currently busy with Dunki. While speaking of the film, Hirani recently told India Today, “Dunki is a very high-performance film with a lot of monologues and long scenes, but he (Shah Rukh Khan) has got the entire script in his head, word to word. He even remembers everybody else’s lines.” Besides SRK, it will also star Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani and is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2023.
