Actor Radhikka Madan has responded to conversations around “paid negative PR” in the film industry, stating that she does not support such practices.

In a recent interview with News 18, Madan said, “You can never rise by pulling someone down,” while addressing the idea of using negativity to get ahead. She further added, “May God never give me so much insecurity that I have to pull someone down to feel good about myself,” underlining her belief in self-worth over competition-driven narratives.
Expanding on her perspective, she also pointed out that success is not limited to a single individual. “I also feel that there isn’t space for just one person at the top. There’s space for everyone,” she said, suggesting that the industry can accommodate multiple talents without rivalry turning negative.
Madan emphasised that she prefers to stay focused on her work rather than engage in such tactics. Her comments indicate that she views long-term growth as being rooted in individual effort and consistency rather than perception-building exercises. She also hinted at how narratives around actors are often shaped externally, especially in an era dominated by digital platforms and constant public scrutiny. However, she maintained that such factors do not ultimately define an artist’s journey.
Known for her work across films and streaming projects, Madan has built her career by taking on varied roles. Her remarks add to the ongoing discussion around ethics in celebrity publicity, reinforcing the idea that credibility and success come from one’s work rather than attempts to undermine others.
