Raashii Khanna expresses her desire to do more action films post Yodha; says, “Want to learn amazing fight choreography” : Bollywood News

Raashii Khanna, who recently made her big Bollywood debut as the Dharma heroine in the Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha, is looking forward to exploring her acting prowess by delving into varied genres. However, the actress has confessed that after she completed the shoot for her recent action entertainer, she wants to explore more opportunities to perform action on screen.

Recently, Raashii Khanna revealed, “I want to be a part of actioners where I get to transform through intense physical training and learn some amazing fight choreography." And let us tell you that Raashii’s wish-list doesn’t stop here as she also wants to play a mythological character on screen. “I would love to play a character like Anushka Shetty from Baahubali,” she shared.

During the trailer launch of this action entertainer which released this month, Raashii had opened up about playing the role of a government official, and had said, “I have always wanted to be an IAS officer, and I think destiny brought me into cinema. I was very lucky to play this role because I saw that side! I play the role of a government official, who is responsible for negotiations. There was always this intensity on set. While reading the script, they said that you’re the ‘lady Yodha’ on ground, who’s negotiating and I realised the importance of communication, and how important it is in such situations. So, there is a lot I take away from this film.”

After winning hearts in Yodha, it looks like Raashii is gearing up to deliver some more interesting characters which definitely has her fans excited. On the work front, Raashii Khanna is looking forward to several interesting projects wherein she will be seen in The Sabarmati Report and TME with Vikrant Massey. Along with that, she has the Tamil film Aranmanai 4 and the Telugu film Telusu Kada in the pipeline. The actress has also dropped hints about Farzi 2 kick starting next year and releasing soon, which has left fans of the web-series excited.
