A R Rahman concert in Pune gets stopped by police; music maestro calls it ‘Rockstar’ moment : Bollywood News

With concerts and live performances taking centre stage yet again in the entertainment world, A R Rahman left audiences enthralled in Pune recently with his live concert. The music maestro, however, had to cut short the fun when police intervened the musical performance when the singer exceeded the time-limit. In a recent video posted by social media, the music maestro shared a note as well as a video that gave audiences a glimpse of what transpired that evening.

The concert was held in Raja Bahadur Mills in the city which was attended by a massive crowd who cheered on for the musician-singer. A R Rahman posted a video on Twitter sharing glimpses from the concert, wherein, in the second half of it a policeman came on stage to put an end to the musical concert after they exceeded the time limit of 10 pm. After that, the musician decided to wrap up the musical concert.

Along with the video, the musician also posted a note addressing it as his ‘Rockstar’ moment. He wrote, “Did we all just have the “Rockstar” moment on stage yesterday? I think we did! We were overwhelmed by the love of the audience and kept wanting to give more.. Pune, thank you once again for such a memorable evening. Here’s a little snippet of our roller coaster ride ;). A concerned fan had dropped a review about the concert as he expressed his disappointment over the concert being cut short for an hour whereas another fan requested the police to shut down religious and political functions with the same enthusiasm.

A R Rahman, last composed for the magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan franchise, directed by Mani Ratnam. While PS 1 released way back in September 2022, PS 2 hit the theatres last week, on April 28.
