Earlier this month, along with a host of Bollywood celebrity weddings was yet another ceremony of lovebirds Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi. Son of Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek tied the knot with his Khuda Haafiz heroine on February 9 in Goa. Along with a star-studded ceremony, the couple also hosted several wedding functions in Goa as well as an after-party in Mumbai. Taking to social media to give glimpses of their celebrations, Abhishek and Shivaleeka also posted a series of photos which included the team of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, from the producer Kumar Mangat Pathak to the leading star cast of the film including Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sunny Singh, and Ishita Raj.

Readers would be aware that Kartik Aaryan earned immense fame with his monologue from the first film in the series Pyaar Ka Punchnama, directed by Luv Ranjan and the film also featured Nushrratt Bharuccha and Ishita Raj as the leading ladies. Joining them in the second instalment of the rom-com was Sunny Singh. Adding to the connection, Kumar Mangat Pathak also produced another film titled AakashVani (2013) which featured Kartik, Nushrratt, and Sunny together.

Coming to the festivities of Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi have been sharing several glimpses from their wedding functions which also included haldi, sangeet, mehendi, and the marriage ceremony. The couple also gave a sneak peek into their after-party in this carousel post with a caption that read, “Happily ever after party!”

Talking about Pyaar Ka Punchnama, while the 2011 comedy also featured Raayo Bakhirta and Sonnalli Seygall, Divyendu Sharma as the leads along with Kartik, Nushrratt, and Ishita, the second instalment retained Kartik but Raayo and Divyendu were replaced by Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor.
