8 years back with Andaaz, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta had made their on-screen debut in the same film. This was a record creating association as never before in the history of cinema, two beauty queens (Lara was crowned Miss Universe while Priyanka was Miss World) who had earned their crowns in the same year (2000) had made their debut on the same day (May 2003) and that too in the same film.

"Now that record is all set to be broken with ex-Miss India Universe (2007) Puja Gupta and ex-Miss India World (2007) Sarah Jane Dias making their debut on the same day, though in two different films", informs a trade observer who is keenly following release plans for F.A.L.T.U and Game, the films with which the girls would be making their respective debuts on 1st April.

So how is that a record? Well, here is how. Even though Priyanka had acted in Andaaz, contrary to popular belief it wasn't her debut film. Before that she was seen in a special appearance in Sunny Deol starrer The Hero that had released a month before Andaaz.

"That's right", confirms a veteran trade observer, "However this is not the case with Puja and Sarah as none of the two have a released film against their name yet. With F.A.L.T.U. and Game, they would be seen on the big screen for the first time ever. It's definitely a record."

"Isn't it such a beautiful coincidence", Puja is visibly happy when told about the record, "The last time it happened with Priyanka and Lara, they went on to have such a beautiful innings. They both are so successful in their career. I wish their luck rubs upon both Sarah and I as well."

Remembering the times that she shared with Sarah during her beauty pageant days, Puja says, "She is a very sweet and hard working girl. I am thrilled that both of us are arriving on the same day. I wish her and her film lots of luck."
