Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared glimpses from a relaxed Sunday with family through her latest Instagram photo series, offering fans a candid look at her downtime amid her ongoing international work commitments. The actor tagged Hyderabad as the location of the post, prompting conversation among fans about her schedule, especially since she was last in the city for work related to her upcoming film Varanasi.
Poolside moments and family glimpses stand out in the post
Among the highlights was a photograph of Priyanka relaxing by the pool in a blue bikini. Another image showed her enjoying raw mango with chilli, a familiar summer favourite. The photo series also included heartwarming family moments featuring her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas spending time with grandmother Madhu Chopra. In another frame, Malti appeared on a video call with her father Nick Jonas, who joined from the United States.
A short clip showing a chalkboard carrying the words “behave like a man” also caught attention. The visual appeared to be filmed on a set environment, hinting at her active shooting schedule.

Hyderabad tag draws attention to Rajamouli’s ambitious Varanasi
The Hyderabad location tag drew interest because Priyanka was last seen in the city while filming portions of Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli and co starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The large scale action adventure has already completed around 14 months of filming, with roughly six more months of production still planned. The project has also drawn attention for becoming the first Indian feature film to shoot sequences in Antarctica and only the fourth feature film globally to film on the continent.
Rajamouli officially unveiled the title Varanasi at Hyderabad’s Globetrotter event in November 2025. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 7 April 2027, coinciding with Ram Navami, and is being mounted for IMAX screens.
Varanasi marks Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s return to Indian cinema after nearly seven years. She was last seen in Hindi cinema in The Sky Is Pink. Her previous Telugu outing came with Thoofan.
