Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was recently in Italy where she won hearts with her photoshoot, seems to have returned to her LA home to spend quality time with her family. Ten years ago, the actress lost her father to cancer on June 10. The actress recently hosted a small pooja in memory of him and posted photos of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas attending it in a traditional Indian lehenga.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas were thrilled to welcome their first child via surrogacy last year and have always been sharing photos with their little angel. In a recent series of posts shared by PC on her Instagram story, Priyanka Chopra Jonas posted Malti Marie Chopra Jonas dressed in a beautiful lehenga and captioned it saying, “Puja time. Miss u Nana (maternal grandfather)”. In one of them we can see the little one trying to find her belly button. Commenting on the photo, Priyanka wrote, “Someone found her belly button in her gorgeous lehenga”.

Furthermore, the actress also posted another photo where she was seen making her daughter learn to seek blessings from the lord and her late father in a traditional way. She captioned it saying, ‘Miss U dad’. Readers would be aware that the actress was quite close to her father and even sports a tattoo that reads, ‘Daddy’s Li’l Girl’.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have always opened up about her daughter being a blessing. On Mother’s Day, the actress had penned a heartfelt note expressing gratitude towards her mother as well as Nick’s mother, and in the same post, she also thanked her daughter for making her a mother. She had said, “I love you Malti Marie. Thank you for making me a mama. Its the greatest honour of my life that you chose me.” Her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas also made her first trip to Mumbai and India when she accompanied her superstar mother for the promotions of Citadel.
