Even though Priyanka Chopra Jonas has shifted to the US, the actress never fails to ring in Indian festivities, the traditional way. Furthermore, she has also been teaching her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas about the ways of an Indian household and recently she was seen ringing in Diwali in a similar manner. She kicked off Dhanteras and other festivities earlier this week with the usual ‘Rangoli’ and it seems that her daughter Malti too attempted to create one.
Earlier on Saturday, November 11, Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram to share about her kicking off Diwali with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. She took to her story to share a photo of her little one’s first attempt at ‘Rangoli’ wherein the adorable kid tried to create a floral purple design on the floor. Her mother was more than happy and proud to flaunt it and posted it on her social media handle saying, “First Rangoli” and added a few emojis including a baby emoticon.
Despite being married to the American pop star Nick Jonas, fans of Priyanka Chopra Jonas has often appreciated her love for her roots and Indian culture. Just a couple of days ago, her mother Madhu Chopra also opened up about PC marrying a non-Indian and had maintained that he is exactly the kind of partner she hoped her daughter to have. “I had an extensive conversation with Nick privately to gauge his character. Afterward, I realized he was precisely the person I envisioned for Priyanka. He embodied what I had hoped for my daughter,” she told Bollywood Hungama.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently busy with her Hollywood projects. The actress is expected to mark her return to Bollywood with Jee Le Zaraa but the film is currently postponed.
