Priyanka Chopra Jonas becomes the first Indian actor to rule the cover of British Vogue : Bollywood News

In the past, there have been many instances where actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has expressed pride over her Indian roots and many of her Indian fans have always felt pride over her achievements. Adding another feather to her cap, the actress has now become the only actor in Indian cinema who has featured on the cover of over 40 international magazines and the count continues. The latest addition to this is the cover of British Vogue.

The magazine British Vogue and Priyanka Chopra Jonas unveiled the latest cover of the February 2023 edition which features the Bajirao Mastani actress on the cover page. Introducing their ‘cover star’ on social media, the magazine also captioned a few details about the actress, adding, “From Bollywood to Hollywood, the actor, producer and entrepreneur has always fought to make her mark. Yet nothing could have prepared her for her journey to motherhood, finds @ByJenWang. See the full story in the new issue, on newsstands on Tuesday 24 January”.

With cross-continental projects in her kitty, PC recently made headlines for hosting an exclusive screening of the Oscar hopeful S. S. Rajamouli's RRR for her fellow academy members in Los Angeles. Readers would recall that the Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer won the award for the Best Original Song at the Golden Globe 2023 and PC not only expressed pride over the achievement but also wanted everyone else to share the experience. Similarly, she also hosted the special screening of another film Chello Show which is to be shortlisted for Oscar nomination.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is gearing up for the release of the American rom-com film Love Again co-starring Sam Heughan, Lydia west, among others. She has also wrapped up most of the work on the ambitious Amazon Prime Video series Citadel, a sci-fi space drama that also features Richard Madden. As for her Bollywood films, the actress is expected to feature Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
