Prateik Babbar, who made his Bollywood debut alongside Imran Khan in the 2008 hit Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, recently alluded to the possibility of Imran Khan embarking on a new project, sparking excitement among fans. In the beloved film, while Prateik played a supporting role, Imran Khan took on the lead character, marking their entry into the world of Hindi cinema.

Over the years, Prateik has been involved in various projects, continuing to make his mark in the industry, whereas Imran Khan has been noticeably absent from the big screen since his last film, Katti Batti, in 2015 opposite Kangana Ranaut.

During an interview with Instant Bollywood, Prateik Babbar was asked about the rumours swirling around Imran's return to Bollywood. In response, he confirmed, “Yeah, of course, we spoke on the phone. It was good to hear his voice. Something is cooking. We all miss him. I had given up on him. But we spoke on the phone a week ago and I think something is cooking.” When asked if he had a message for Imran Khan, Prateik expressed, “The country wants to see you back on the big screen, but the ball is in your court.”

As the buzz surrounding Imran Khan's potential comeback continues to grow, movie enthusiasts can't help but wonder what exciting projects might lie ahead for the actor who once captured hearts with his performances on the big screen.

For the unversed, Imran Khan is Aamir Khan's nephew. He made his debut in the 2008 movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which also starred Genelia D'Souza. He went on to star in I Hate Luv Storys with Sonam Kapoor, Break Ke Baad opposite Deepika Padukone, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan opposite Katrina Kaif, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola opposite Anushka Sharma, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! opposite Sonakshi Sinha Katti Batti opposite Kangana Ranaut and Delhi Belly.
