Prajakta Koli, the popular digital creator, actress, and author, has added a new achievement to her growing list of accolades. Her latest project, She Creates Change, has won the People's Voice Award at the 2025 Webby Awards.

The six-episode animated and live-action documentary series, presented by the global education nonprofit Room to Read, has been recognized for its compelling storytelling. The series features a voice cast including Prajakta Koli, Freida Pinto, Charithra Chandran, Dilshad Vadsaria, Adhir Kalyan, Amita Suman, Amrita Acharia, and Quyen Ngo.

She Creates Change highlights the real-life stories of six girls from historically marginalized communities across Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Vietnam. The narratives explore topics such as climate justice, financial literacy, food insecurity, child marriage, discrimination, menstruation, and sexual harassment—portraying how these young women confront challenges and become advocates for change.

The series first premiered on Warner Bros. Discovery platforms across Asia last year and continued to gain momentum with selections at major festivals including the Tribeca Festival, Manchester Animation Festival, London Short Film Festival, and the British Animation Awards. Its Webby win further cements the rising global focus on projects that blend entertainment with education and social change.

This Webby Award marks another major international milestone for Koli. In 2021, she was part of the Emmy-winning YouTube Originals docuseries Creators For Change, alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama. That project, which spotlighted youth-driven social change, earned a Daytime Emmy Award. With She Creates Change, Prajakta Koli continues to expand her influence beyond digital platforms, using her reach to spotlight stories of resilience and empowerment on the global stage.
