From the past few months, Bollywood has been at the centre of controversies including the drug link that emerged during the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Recently, Pooja Bhatt took to social media to highlight the plight of people who use drugs to survive the pain of living.
"Does anyone care about people who live on the ultimate fringe of society, who use drugs to make the pain of living go away? The ones who are too battered & broken to chase dreams but chase substances amidst much poverty & squalor? Anyone interested in their rehabilitation?," she tweeted.

The tweet comes at a time when the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is actively investigating the use of drugs and supply of the same in Bollywood. The NCB filed a drug case after the Enforcement Directorate came across WhatsApp chats where Rhea Chakraborty and others were seen talking about procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty was arrested a week ago in the drug probe and is currently under judicial custody.
