In a casual avatar and amidst a relaxed atmosphere, Parineeti shared a video on Thursday afternoon where she can be seen passionately singing ‘Tu Jhoom’ by Naseebo Lal and Abida Parveen. In the caption accompanying the post, she expressed her joy in these spontaneous moments, stating, "Sometimes the best moments happen spontaneously. Went to a dubbing studio and couldn’t resist the urge to sing one of my all time favourite songs. Pure joy!"

The video resonated with her followers, who appreciated her impromptu performance. A section of IG users flooded the comments section with red-heart emoticons. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher, Harrdy Sandhu, Guneet Monga, and Simi Garewal, among others, also showered love on the video.

While her musical endeavours continue to captivate audiences, Parineeti is also busy with her upcoming film Chamkila. The 34-year-old actress eagerly awaits its release, which is set to premiere directly on Netflix. The film also features Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role. The Imtiaz Ali directorial stars Diljit and Parineeti as real-life singer couple Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur, who were killed, along with two members of their band in 1988 in an assassination which remains unsolved.

Aside from her professional commitments, Parineeti has also made headlines for her engagement to young politician Raghav Chaddha. They got engaged on May 13 in New Delhi.
