Panga: Richa Chadha shares her first look as Kabbadi player Meenu : Bollywood News

In one of the most anticipated upcoming films, Panga, Richa Chadha plays the role of a Kabbadi player. Her character Meenu plays Kangana Ranaut’s on-screen friend. Her character is that of a woman who’s empowered and chosen a life for herself where she chooses her career in the sport. The actress had to train extensively for the role and even had to sport a shorter hairdo in the film. Here’s giving you the first look of her from the movie.

Sharing her first look, Richa Chadha wrote, "The song is out, so is Meenu’s look. Have a look!" In the picture, Richa Chadha is seen wearing a red colour jersey representing Northern Railway and is surrounded by players supporting the jersey of South central railway.

In Panga, Kangana Ranaut plays a kabaddi player who returns to the sport after leading a domesticated life. he receives a lot of support from her reel-life husband played by Punjabi heart-throb, Jassie Gill. With Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s direction and a stellar star cast, Panga is one of the most anticipated films of the month. The trailer of the film released a few weeks ago and has been well received by the audience

The film is also giving a break to a reality show Indian Idol 11 singer Sunny Hindustani. After his performance went viral on social media, music composer Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy reached out to him for a song in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s film.

Panga is slated to release on January 24.
