Palak Purswani, who had a rather brief stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 house, opened up about her controversial relationship with Avinash Sachdev. For the unversed, the couple were engaged and about to get married but the two broke up much before the wedding. While in an episode, Avinash claimed to Jiya Shankar that he was out of love, Palak has now claimed that they broke up because he cheated on her twice.

In an interview, Palak Purswani recalled about her relationship and mentioned that his cheating and toxic habits have made her untrustworthy of men in her life. Moreover, she also said that the Choti Bahu actor did not cheat on her once but twice. The actress claimed that he cheated on her first a month after their roka. While their roka happened in January, he allegedly happened to cheat on her in February. The actress also claimed that he later cheated on her in October.

She opened up about how she allegedly caught Avinash texting two sisters during her Goa trip with Jiya Shankar and her other friend. “I was so embarrassed about the kind of messages they shared. That was the last nail, and I decided I can’t be with him. And because my family loved him so dearly, especially my father, he suffered a minor attack because of the trauma,” she told Bollywood Bubble.

Palak confessed that even though she is a firm believer of ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’, she decided to give Avinash a chance because she had invested four years of her life in the relationship. Plus, because her family was so involved and also because they co-owned a restaurant.

The actress concluded the Avinash chapter by adding that she would definitely have a happy life ahead because all the girls who were in Avinash’s life have had a better life once they left him. She added, “Look at Rubina (Dilaik). She is happily married (to Abhinav Shukla). And Shalmalee (ex-wife of Avinash Sachdev) is also quite happy with her second marriage.”
