Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was trending on various social media platforms over the weekend as he played the 2023 NBA All-star game at the Salt Lake City in Utah on Saturday. The actor impressed his fans with his game. Not only this, but he also met legendary basketball player, LeBron James, during his visit. Sharing his experience of meeting the king, Singh shared a post on Monday dedicated to the basketball player.

The video montage gave a sneak peek into his meeting with LeBron James on the court and a bunch of photos of the duo. Meanwhile, the tune of Ranveer’s popular track, ‘Malhari’, can be heard in the background. Instagramming the post, Ranveer wrote, “It was overwhelming to meet LeBron / It happened suddenly and by chance. To exchange energy with, to be in the presence of, and experience the aura of such an icon of sports was indeed a very, very special moment for me.”

The Bajiroa Mastani actor further added, “I have been @kingjames’s fan for 20 years! / Witnessed his entire career and the glory he has brought to game of basketball / I am ever grateful to the NBA for making this happen for me - Love my NBA family! Love Live King James.” Many of his followers flooded the comments section with red-heart emojis. “Watching you fanboying is sooo cute,” wrote an Instagram user, while another commented, “well captured.”

Coming to the professional front, the 37-year-old actor was last seen in Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty. Though the film created a buzz before its release, it performed poorly at the box office. However, for 2023, Singh has an interesting line-up including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Helmed by Karan Johar, the forthcoming flick will also star Alia Bhatt, marking their second on-screen collaboration after Gully Boy. It is slated to release on July 28 this year.
