Today, on Hrithik Roshan's 48th birthday, the makers of the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha dropped the first look of the actor. Hrithik plays the role of Vedha in the film with Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Vikram. In the original Tamil film, R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi essay the role of Vikram and Vedha respectively.
On Monday morning, Hrithik took to his social media handle to share the first look. He simply wrote, "Vedha" in the caption.
Reacting to the first look, R Madhavan who essayed the role of Vikram in the original quote tweeted Hrithik's post and wrote, "Now that’s a “Vedha” I do want to see…. Wow bro .. this is EPIC. Damnnnnn".

Based on the Indian meta-folktale Vikram aur Betaal, the film tells the story of a tough police officer who sets out to track down and kill an equally tough gangster. This original Tamil blockbuster starred R. Madhavan & Vijay Sethupathi.
