When Bhaag Milkha Bhaag released, the audience was not only taken aback by the way Farhan Akhtar had transformed into the mien of the legendary Olympian but also, by the life-story of Milkha Singh. To mark the day on the occasion of Milkha Singh’s birthday, the reel-life Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar wished the icon with the best and sweetest wishes.
Taking to his social media, Farhan shared a picture of young Milkha Singh and wrote, “Happy birthday to the ‘Flying Sikh’ .. love you Milkha-ji. Wish you good health and happiness always. @realjeevmilkhasingh”. The wishes by the actor truly reflect onto the respect and high regard Farhan places upon his real-life Milkha, whose character he had essayed on screen.
After acing the role of an athlete in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the actor is all set to step into the boxing ring for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial Toofan.
Despite the injury, while shooting for Toofan, Farhan has been keen on continuing the training and keeping the focus high, rather than taking any break. Prepping up high over the time for his next, Farhan also makes sure that he keeps his fans posted all through his fitness and boxing sessions.
Farhan’s next, Toofan is an Excel Entertainment production, brought together in association with ROMP pictures and will be hitting the screens on 2nd October 2020.
