Actor and dancer Nora Fatehi recently appeared on Ciara’s podcast, where she spoke about her journey in acting, singing, and belly dancing. During the conversation, Nora expressed her deep admiration for singer Shreya Ghoshal, calling her the perfect artist to introduce newcomers to Bollywood music and Indian culture.
When Ciara asked Nora to recommend one Bollywood artist for someone unfamiliar with the industry, Nora immediately mentioned Shreya Ghoshal. She said, “If you’re new to Bollywood and trying to understand what it’s all about, you should listen to Shreya Ghoshal. She’s an icon. I recently collaborated with her on ‘Oh Mama! TETEMA’, where she sang the Hindi parts. Ciara, you’ll message me in a few days saying, ‘Wow!’ She has the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard.”
Nora went on to praise Shreya’s versatility and influence in Indian music. “She has sung some of the most iconic tracks from major Bollywood films, as well as independent singles. She’s like a walking autotune—it’s incredible how effortlessly she sings. Anyone who wants to understand Bollywood music and culture should listen to her,” Nora added.
Talking about their collaboration on ‘Oh Mama! TETEMA’, Nora shared that she initially felt nervous. “When they told me I would be singing with her, I was scared. I’m not a vocalist—I bring the vibe. But she’s a true vocalist,” she said.

Shreya Ghoshal is widely recognized as one of India’s most accomplished playback singers. Throughout her career, she has received numerous honours, including five National Film Awards for Best Female Playback Singer and multiple Filmfare Awards across five different languages. Her voice has become synonymous with some of Bollywood’s most memorable songs.
Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi, who started her career as a dancer before moving into acting, has been exploring her musical side. In recent years, she has released several international singles and collaborated with global artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Jason Derulo, Shenseea, and Honey Singh.
