A standalone sequel to J. P. Dutta’s 1997 classic Border, the upcoming film is set against the backdrop of the India–Pakistan war of 1971. Co-written and directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 expands the scope of its predecessor by depicting coordinated operations of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series Films and J. P. Films.
