Netflix has released the trailer for Baramulla, a highly anticipated supernatural thriller directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and created by Aditya Dhar. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film stars Manav Kaul and Bhasha Sambil, marking a second collaboration between Netflix and the production houses following the success of Doom Daham.

The story is set in the mist-covered valleys of Kashmir, where children begin to disappear under mysterious circumstances. DSP Ridwaan Shafi Sayyid (Manav Kaul), a no-nonsense officer haunted by his past, is called to Baramulla to investigate. As he settles in the town with his wife, Gulnar (Bhasha Sambil), and their children, Noorie (Arista Mehta) and Ayaan (Rohaan Singh), strange occurrences start to unfold at home. Gulnar senses an eerie presence that the children also notice—from hearing footsteps in the middle of the night to sensing things that do not exist. While Ridwaan initially dismisses these fears, each incident draws him closer to a darkness that runs deeper than reason, revealing a haunting that refuses to stay hidden.
Speaking about the film, Aditya Jambhale said, “With the trailer, we wanted to give audiences a glimpse into the world of Baramulla. The story starts as a mystery thriller but gradually becomes more emotional and psychological. It explores fear—not only the fear that lurks in the dark, but the fear that resides within us. Collaborating with Netflix, Jio Studios, and B62 Studios allowed us to tell this story with honesty, scale, and vision, just as the writers Aditya Dhar, Monal Thakar, and I had imagined.” Manav Kaul added, “The trailer captures the quiet, unsettling atmosphere of Baramulla. It’s not loud horror; it’s the kind that slowly creeps up on you, where silence feels heavier than sound. Aditya has created a world that feels eerily real, and the valley itself almost becomes a character in the story. As someone from Baramulla, this script felt deeply personal. Working with Netflix, Jio Studios, and B62 Studios allowed us to tell this story with authenticity and care. I believe it will stay with audiences long after the credits roll, making them question what is real and what is not.”
Rooted in Kashmir’s rich culture and mystique, Baramulla is a compelling exploration of faith, fear, and the unseen. The film weaves regional myths with real-life struggles, presenting the valley as a living, observing presence. Baramulla premieres on November 7, exclusively on Netflix.
The film is directed by Aditya Suhas Jamb hale and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The story is by Aditya Dhar and Aditya Suhas Jamb hale, with screenplay and dialogues by Aditya Suhas Jamb hale and Monal Thakar. The cast includes Manav Kaul, Bhasha Sambil, Arista Mehta, and Rohaan Singh.
