It is a known fact that Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan are doting grandmothers to Raha Kapoor, the new addition to the Kapoor family and the one-year-old daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The two grandmothers, who are often spending time with each other and their granddaughter, came across an interesting post doing the rounds on social media. It featured the late Rishi Kapoor and Raha Kapoor together, and needless to say, the photo made Neetu Kapoor quite emotional.
Actress Neetu Kapoor has always expressed her sadness over the late Rishi Kapoor being unable to witness the wedding of their son Ranbir Kapoor with Alia Bhatt as well as the birth of their first child. However, a fan club made the impossible scenario possible with the help of photo editing and shared an image of the late Rishi Kapoor holding and doting on Raha Kapoor, with the help of software. Reacting to it, Soni Razdan took to Instagram story to share the post and added, “This is such a great edit it fills our hearts with happiness. Thank you (folded hands and purple heart emoji)”. Reposting the same on her handle, Neetu added, “This is too adorable (feeling loved emoji)”.
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor, who is also a cancer patient, faced breathing difficulties during the peak of the pandemic in 2020 and passed away on April 30 in the same year. On the other hand, his son Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot two years later in April 2022 at their residence in Mumbai. The couple became proud parents to their daughter Raha in the same year, in November.
