It all happened during a conversation with News 18. Gupta asserted, “I wish we also had the same kind of exposure. I think about it every passing minute. I feel envious every second.”

Explaining her take further, the Panga actress said, “I wonder what if I was a young actor in this day and age! I could have achieved so much more. Having said that, I know that you can’t have everything that you wish for. I definitely do feel thankful for all the work that’s coming my way even at this age. But yes, I feel very, very jealous when I look at them wearing gowns and walking [on the global stage].”

On the other hand, the 63-year-old actress joked that even younger female actors have a reason to envy her. When prompted, she shares a wealth of upcoming film projects. She mentions wrapping up Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley and currently filming Metro In Dino. She also mentions the film Pachhhattar Ka Chhora in production and a segment she did for Lust Stories 2 directed by R Balki, set for release on June 29.

She further added that she has three projects with Jio Studios, including a feature film called Baa and two anthologies titled Dogs Not Allowed and Ishq E Nadaan, in which she will work with Kanwaljit Singh. Additionally, she recently finished a film for Amazon with Jackie Shroff titled Sabun, which she holds dear to her heart. She explains that it is distinct from Khujli (2017) and directed by Vijay Maurya, whom she praises.
