Getting a botox is not something unheard of among film personalities and other screen personalities. However, most refrain from talking about it in the public. During an episode of Netflix's variety show The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, actress Neelam Kothari underwent a botox procedure. Neelam feels that a big deal is being made out of botox and all such procedures.
Talking to an entertainment portal, Neelam said that she feels that a big deal is being made out of botox and all such procedures. She said that people get old and do stuff to make themselves feel and look good and that was also her thought process behind it.
Talking about filming her botox procedure for the variety show, Neelam said that she did not give it much thought and asked the crew of the show if they would like to film the procedure. Neelam wondered what is there to hide in it. She also said that she sometimes wonders how some women do not look their age and what they must be doing to look like that. The actress said that by being open to such procedures, she can help other women who keep wondering the same.
Neelam further said that she was told by her husband Samir and show producer Karan Johar that she will have to give in her hundred percent if she plans to do a show like Bollywood Wives.
The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is s Netflix series based on the lives of four-star wives- Seema Khan (married to Sohail Khan), Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor's wife), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Pandey), and Neelam Kothari (married to Samir Soni). The show also had special appearances by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Karan Johar. The second season of the show will be aired later this year on Netflix.
