Actor-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan turned 75 today and is getting well-wishes from all corners. The actress, who stays away from social media, has been receiving birthday messages from fans, friends, and industry and political colleagues. Her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda took to social media to wish her “real powerhouse” grandmother on her big day.
Navya Naveli Nanda shared a throwback black and white photo and captioned the post, “Happy birthday Naani (red heart emoji). The real powerhouse. The glue that binds us all. I love you!”

Jaya Bachchan married actor Amitabh Bachchan in 1973. The couple has two kids – Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan. Navya is the daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and industrialist Nikhil Nanda.
On the work front, Jaya Bachchan will next star in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is scheduled for release in July 2023. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
Meanwhile, Navya Naveli Nanda runs a healthcare program called Aara Health. She started in 2020. She is also currently hosting a podcast for IVM called ‘What The Hell Navya’.
