In conversation with Aditya Bhat, Navya discussed the ideation behind her podcast- What the Hell Navya. She explained, “During the lockdown uh I live with my entire family so my Nani and my mom and I you know would sit a lot during the lockdown cause that's all we could really do and have conversations and conversations we hadn't had before you know sometimes you can live with people your whole life and not have certain conversations”.

She also shared that “We felt that you know there was so much to talk about that we hadn't, and as we were having those conversations we felt that the topics and the themes that we were touching on were very relevant to what's happening in today's social context.”
