Actor Naveen Kaushik recently opened up about his on-set equation with Sara Arjun during the filming of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, sharing anecdotes that highlight their light-hearted camaraderie.
Kaushik, who played Donga in the first installment of the franchise, spoke to Mamaraazzi about Arjun’s personality behind the scenes, describing her as warm and approachable. He said, “She is extremely joyful when on set. When we met a few times, unhone kabhi yeh feeling nahi di ki woh star hai ya lead actress hai.” He further explained that their interactions often resembled casual, friendly banter rather than formal co-actor exchanges. “It's like how we meet college friends, they come and tease you and ask, ‘kaha the itne dino?’ That also used to happen back and forth, the teasing,” he added.
Recalling specific moments, Kaushik shared a playful exchange between the two actors that became a recurring joke on set. “She would be like, ‘Kya Donga bhai naach nahi rahe ho’… and then she'd say, ‘chalo nachwaate hai.’ And I'll say, ‘Nahi nahi, Hamza ko nachwata hoon,’” he said, describing the humorous back-and-forth.
The actor’s comments shed light on the working environment during the film’s production, suggesting a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere among the cast. While Kaushik’s character did not appear in the sequel, his association with the first film and interactions with the team continue to resonate.
