Actor Vikrant Massey has spoken publicly about his personal connection to the role of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in White, an upcoming international thriller currently in production. Massey shared his thoughts in a recent video post, reflecting on what it means to portray a figure who holds deep personal significance for him.
In his own words, Massey said, "Mujhe aapka role bhi karne ka mauka mil gaya… jeevan mein ek aise vyakti ka kirdar nibhane ka mauka mil gaya jo, jaise maine kaha, mere Gurudev hain, mera ghar hain, mere margdarshak hain, mere sab kuch hain… so I'm really grateful."
White is based on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's role in helping end Colombia's 52-year civil war, a contribution that has received limited coverage in mainstream media. The film will be made in English and Spanish and is described by its producers as a global thriller with a focus on peace-building and spiritual diplomacy.
In preparation for the role, Massey met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in October 2024 and has since spent time at the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru, participating in the Happiness Programme as part of his character research. He has also undergone a physical transformation for the role, adopting longer hair and a changed appearance.

White is directed by Montoo Bassi and produced by Siddharth Anand under Marflix Pictures, Mahaveer Jain under Mahaveer Jain Films, and Peacecraft Pictures. The film stars Vikrant Massey as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Principal photography is underway in Colombia.
