Nakuul Mehta reveals that he was appreciated by ‘the GREATEST of all time’ Shreya Goshal after the singer appreciated his voice : Bollywood News

Nakuul Mehta, who recently returned to his famous role of Ram after popular demand, recently received a few lovely words of appreciation from award-winning singer Shreya Ghoshal. At a recent event in a five-star, the popular television star joined Ghoshal on stage as the latter sang a few lines from Mehta’s renowned show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Furthermore, the singer also appreciated Mehta for his lovely voice, to which, the Ishqbaaz actor responded on social media.

In the video posted by Nakuul Mehta, he also revealed in the video that Shreya had specially dedicated the song ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ to Nakuul amid her performance. After Shreya hummed a few lines, Nakuul joined in and after which, Shreya appreciated Mehta’s voice. Shreya said, “Nakuul is a fabulous singer. Maine jalke kahin dekhi thi Instagram mein jab Jankee (Nakuul’s wife) ne dala tha (I think I had seen a clip of him singing on Instagram when Jankee had uploaded it I guess). I am a very big admirer of you.”

Responding to this, Nakul took to Instagram and said, “@shreyaghoshal ‘s HAINA > Any other living singers best note. Also, henceforth no one is allowed to make fun of my limited musical talents! We now come approved by the GREATEST of all time, herself”. He further went on to add, “P.S. I meant every word I said to you on stage. Listening to you LIVE will probably go down as the best moment of this year, already @shreyaghoshal”.

Talking about ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, the song is a remake of the 1976 track from the film Balika Vadhu, recreated specifically for the Ekta Kapoor show by the same name. The first season of the show, featuring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, started in 2011 and about a decade later, the second season or rather a reboot version was created with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar in the lead. After their exit in February, due to low TRPs and popular demand, the second season ended paving way for a third season with a different and fresh story line with the same couple playing the lead once again.
