Mona Singh has given a wide range of roles in Films like Laal Singh Chaddha, 3 Idiots, Jassi Jaisa Koi Nahi. Talking about films and choosing roles, she said, “After Laal Singh Chaddha, people have realised that she is not a one-size-fit-all actor, the role needs to be edged out for me .. which is why the makers also take some time in casting me."

Singh further added, "But I think what has changed after Laal Singh is the creators, the writers, the producers have seen this whole versatility and now I am getting so many different offers, I am busy the whole year, I am shooting and most of my characters are so different from one another. I am also playing grey shades which I never had, so am experimenting and of course with OTT coming in such a good way and big way, actors like me are throughout busy now.
