Mohsin Khan, who earned fame as Kartik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, took to social media to share a heartbreaking piece of news about his Nisha Aur Uske Cousins co-star, Vibhu Raghave. He revealed that his co-star is suffering from a rare kind of cancer, and also extended his support by helping his friend Simple Kaul raise funds for his co-actor. He promoted the crowdfunding page on social media in order to collect as much as possible to help Vibhu’s family.

Sharing this photo of him with Vibhu Raghave, he explained the condition that the actor and his family is undergoing in a note on Instagram saying, “Hi guys Im raising fund for my close friend Mera bhai Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave (Humara Vibhu) he is suffering from a rare Cancer in its last stage. He is undergoing treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Vibhu lost his Father recently. Today i urge all of us to stand by him as his family, his friends, his well wishers. Do check his insta page @vibhuzinsta”.

On the other hand, popular television actress Simple Kaul, who had kicked off the crowdfunding page, also explained the money that needs to be collected for a particular kind of treatment that is required for his survival. “We will need in excess of 2 tranches of Rs 20 lakhs each, as the medicines, and immunotherapy to be used are extremely expensive. Even though he is at the last stage there is still a strong chance that he’ll make it. Your contribution could save a good soul and give a family a chance at long term happiness.” added her note on the fundraising page.

For the unversed, Vibhu Raghave played the role of Saurav, who essays the character of lead Aneri Vajani aka Nisha’s best friend. Mohsin Khan was seen as the former fiancé of Nisha’s cousin Kirti, played by Heli Daruwala.
