Actor Yami Gautam took everyone by surprise on Friday when she announced her wedding with Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The couple took to their respective social media handles to share a picture from their wedding ceremony held on June 4. The couple had a private ceremony in the presence of their family members.

Ever since Yami has been treating fans with pictures from her intimate wedding festivities. After sharing pictures from her Mehendi and Haldi ceremony, Yami, on Sunday night, shared pictures from the big day.

In one of the pictures, Yami and Aditya are caught in a candid moment during the rituals on the big day. In another picture, the couple is seen doing the varmala ceremony, while the final picture is the happily married couple posing with their family.

Sharing the pictures, Yami wrote, "Memories for a lifetime"

Yami's sister Surilie Gautam also shared some inside pictures from the traditional wedding festivities like Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies.

Meanwhile, announcing their wedding, the couple took to social media and wrote, “In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.”
