Masaba Gupta, a designer-actor, has revealed a number of previously unreleased images that provide a glimpse inside her wedding festivities. On Monday, Masaba shared pictures of her receiving hugs from her loved ones on Instagram.

In the pictures shared, Masaba can be seen laughing as her friends embrace her. In a black-and-white dress, actor Sonam Kapoor grinned and hugged Masaba. She was seen grinning while being held by Karan Boolani, while in another picture Masaba's stepfather Vivek Mehra hugged her closely and kissed her on the head. Nalini Misra Tyabji, Masaba's mother-in-law, was seen cuddling Konkona Sensharma in one of the images. Konkona chose a black dress, while Nalini wore a green and blue saree. In a black-and-white photo, Masaba's husband, actor Satyadeep Misra, could be seen hugging a person. Masaba's stepfather, West Indies cricket icon Vivian Richards, could be be seen grinning in the final image. Sharing the photos, she captioned, “The one where everyone hugs! Part 1!”

Reacting to the post, Konkona commented, “Soooo much happiness,” while director Zoya Akhtar wrote, “Sending you a big one ????.” Fans also poured their love in the comments section.

Masaba and Satyadeep got married last month. On January 27, the couple married privately in front of their immediate families. She posted several images and announced the news on Instagram. The caption read, “Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here's to many many lifetimes of love, peace, stability and most importantly laughter. And, thanks for letting me pick the caption - this is gonna be great.”

On the professional front, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra appeared together in Masaba Masaba's inaugural season. Her husband was portrayed by Satyadeep in the Netflix series. Veteran actress Neena Gupta, Masaba's mother, also featured in the programme. The series was based on Masaba's personal and professional life.
