D23 Expo 2022 is in full swing at Anaheim in California. At the Walt Disney Studios - Lucasfilm & Marvel Studios Presentation at D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to share a series of announcements in the multiverse saga following the splurge of announcements at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The first trailer of Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson was unveiled on the second day of the expo.
Actor Don Cheadle is reprising his longtime role as Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes — aka War Machine. Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in Captain Marvel. They are joined by Cobie Smulders who stars as Maria Hill, as well as Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman.
The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. The series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023.
