Malaika Arora took to her Instagram on Friday to wish her sister, actress Amrita Arora, a happy birthday. She shared a picture of herself giving Amrita a tight hug, as she turned 44. In the caption, Malaika expressed her love and wrote, “Happy birthday ammu aka Jolene love u to the moon n back @amuaroraofficial.”

Amrita Arora began her career as a VJ and made her Bollywood debut in 2002 opposite Fardeen Khan in Kitne Door Kitne Paas. She went on to appear in films like Awara Paagal Deewana, Girlfriend, Speed, Red: The Dark Side, and Kambakth Ishq.

While judging the dance reality show Super Dancer, Malaika Arora opened up about her bond with sister Amrita, as well as with Kareena and Karisma Kapoor. She said, “We are two sets of sisters. We are very similar. We share similar likes and dislikes. It all depends on what one says in the group. But the one common thing about the four of us is hume khana bohot accha lagta hai. So everything revolves around food,” as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Offering valuable advice, Malaika added, “Do not forget each other. You will grow up and become big in your fields. But keep this friendship together. Call up and message each other. This friendship will be special and you will always remember it.”
