Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently shared his thoughts on the much-anticipated moment when daughter Alia Bhatt and her partner Ranbir Kapoor unveiled their daughter Raha to the world last Christmas. Speaking in an interview with Zoom, Mahesh Bhatt expressed his surprise at the decision while commending the couple's grace and the media's respectful behaviour.

Reflecting on the revelation, Mahesh Bhatt remarked, I, myself, was quite surprised that they did that. I think they must have felt that OK, now, she's one year and it's time for her to be introduced to the world at large, who was very curious to know what their baby looks like. And I think, they did it with tremendous grace and must say the media behaved very decent.”

Notably, Mahesh Bhatt observed Raha's natural comfort in front of the cameras, a trait he found remarkable. Unlike previous generations, Raha appeared at ease with the attention, walking in as if she knew the drill. Mahesh Bhatt attributed this comfort to her genes, indicating that she might have inherited this ease from her family.

The much-talked-about moment occurred last Christmas as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor headed to the Kapoor family brunch, choosing the occasion to reveal their daughter's face to the world. The revelation marked a significant milestone for the couple, who had kept their daughter away from the media spotlight for a considerable period.

On the film front, fans eagerly anticipate Ranbir and Alia’s upcoming collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. Set to release on Christmas next year, the multi-starrer also features Vicky Kaushal. This project holds immense significance as it marks the reunion of SLB and Ranbir Kapoor after 17 years, reminiscent of their collaboration in the film Saawariya. Moreover, it marks Alia’s second collaboration with the filmmaker following her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
