Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was extended an invitation to the Ram Mandir inauguration, joining a list of prominent celebrities from the entertainment industry to witness the historic event. On January 21, the director shared a video on social media, offering a glimpse of the in-flight experience he encountered en route to Ayodhya.

In the viral video, Madhur Bhandarkar took his followers on a virtual journey inside the flight bound for Ayodhya. The passengers, filled with fervour were seen collectively reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. In the video, Madhur Bhandarkar can be seen clapping with joy.

The consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya happened today January 22 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. As per a report in The Hindu, an array of selected 506 influential figures, spanning politicians, industrialists, film stars, and more have received invitations.

Apart from Madhur Bhandarkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, among others also flew to the city to attend the ceremony.
