Early yesterday morning, the world of Bollywood was shocked with the sudden demise of veteran actress Reema Lagoo, after she suffered a cardiac arrest. Post this news, most of the fraternity took to social networking sites expressing their condolence and lamenting on the loss to Indian cinema.

In a statement released by the actor, Sanjay Dutt claimed that with the loss of Reema Lagoo he felt that he had lost his mother again. “I have lost a mother again today. We worked together in several movies and every time that I worked with her, I learnt something new. Her demise has left a void which is difficult to fill. May God give strength to her family and close ones,” said Sanjay Dutt.

Readers may recall that Reema Lagoo, who has played mother to many actors, also played the role of his on screen mother in one of Sanjay Dutt’s most iconic films Vaastav, in which he plays the role of anti-hero.

Back on the film front, Sanjay Dutt who has been busy working on his comeback vehicle Bhoomi will also be seen in Torbaaz that is yet to go on floors.
