Shortly ahead of the Covid-19 outbreak, actor Lisa Ray, husband Jason Dehni and their two daughters moved to Singapore. The world is now battling a pandemic, and all we can do is to ensure personal hygiene and safety. It is indeed difficult to explain the gravity of the present time to kids, but one must never stop trying.

In an Instagram shared by Lisa, we see the little ones, who are fondly called 'Souffle' together by their mother, wearing face masks and standing a few feet away from each other. "What will my Souffle make of this time? I try to make it clear, mama has internalised the source of her joy : the process of thinking and reflecting on life. How do I ensure they see the human family’s connection to nature and each other is sacred and immutable behind the masks," she wrote.

The children, Sufi and Soleil, are probably a bit surprised to be wearing the masks. Lisa quoted American author Marianne Williamson to explain how the present crisis had two sides to it. "Two different realities coexist during this pandemic. One is physically, politically & economically devastating; while the other is a forced period of reflection which has already born fruit in the form of reminding us we’re one human family, connected with nature and each other," she added.

While Singapore is not under a lock-down, it is on a circuit breaker mode which was recently extended till June 1.
