Dropping new episodes every Thursday exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, viewers will be on a whirlwind journey of getting up close and personal with celebrities starting October 26, 2023. Being the most awaited season, the first episode couldn’t get any better as star-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh come together for the first time ever on the Koffee couch, spilling the beans on their marriage, proposal and more.

During the episode, Ranveer Singh reveals that he shot day and night for Simmba in order to leave for Italy for his wedding on time. Director Rohit Shetty wrapped the shoot of Simmba before schedule so that Ranveer Singh could attend his wedding! Talking about this, Ranveer Singh said, “I called Rohit bhai and I said that aisa-aisa hai. He was like, thik hai, day night shoot karke khatam karenge tu jaa jee le apni zindagi.We shot day and night 24 hours round the clock towards the end of Simmba so I could make it for my wedding, I took the flight.”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in 2018 November. They secretly got engaged in 2015. “In 2015, I had proposed to her, iske pehle ki koi aur aa jaye main jaake chappal rakh deta hoon,” said Ranveer in the promo of KWK 8.

In the episode, fans will get to see the first visuals of Deepika and Ranveer’s 2018 wedding for the first time ever. While the couple had a private wedding in 2018, an intimate affair with very close family and friends in attendance, fans will get to see a sneak peek from it after almost 5 years. While the photos that the couple released are still adored and are considered goals, the unseen footage from the wedding will definitely break the Internet. Ranveer also mentioned he had proposed to Deepika in 2015 and that they were secretly engaged for all those years.
