In the latest episode of Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan 8, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan found herself in the hot seat as the host grilled her about her absence from the star-studded celebration for the success of Gadar 2 earlier this year.

Joined by fellow actress Alia Bhatt on the show, Kareena faced Karan's probing questions about her no-show at the Gadar 2 party. When confronted about her alleged absence due to being out of town, Karan Johar dismissed her excuse, asserting that she was indeed in the city at the time. The conversation took an interesting turn when Karan brought up the history between Kareena and Ameesha Patel, emphasizing the latter's connection with Gadar 2.

Refusing to be drawn into any controversy, Kareena coolly responded, “What history? The only history I know is that her movie has created history.” Undeterred, Karan continued to press Kareena about Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, a film initially meant to mark Kareena's debut but ultimately catapulted Ameesha Patel into the limelight. Kareena gracefully handled the situation, attributing the twists of fate to the destiny of films and expressing admiration for everyone's respective journeys.

The host didn't stop there, questioning Kareena about whether she had congratulated Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel on Gadar 2's success. Kareena admitted she hadn't but took the opportunity to praise the film and said, “No but I think that it's just fabulous and I can congratulate them now, here.” Despite the film's massive success, Kareena confessed she hadn't watched Gadar 2 yet, expressing a genuine desire to see the successful movie soon.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently had the premiere of her movie The Buckingham Murders at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. The film is yet to receive a release date. She also has The Crew with Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh.
