The producer, director, show anchor and actor Karan Johar has always given the fans an insight into the lives of their favorite celebrities. This time around gracing the couch will be some of the top talent from Indian Film Industry and the recent episode will feature the iconic leading ladies of Karan Johar from his debut cult romantic drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – cousins Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Although their leading man was missing, as the trio reunited they couldn’t help but recall their fond memories associated with the film, when the filmmaker asked his friend about the loopholes in the narrative of the film.
For the unversed, the cult film was a coming-of-age romantic drama where a young daughter of a businessman sets out on a mission to find his estranged friend (love interest) to reunite them as per the wish expressed by her late mother in one of her letters. Being one of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood, it attracted the attention of several social media users where some even conspired certain theories, further calling it a murder mystery. It seems that leading lady Kajol sort of agrees with them! While they discussed the film on the Koffee couch, Karan Johar asked Kajol about the audience's versions regarding the loops in the narrative for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and here is what she had to say. Responding to it, Kajol said, ‘’I love this new version of it being a murder mystery. I think we can re edit it and re-release Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as a murder mystery. I will love it.”
