The first episode couldn’t get any better as star-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh come together for the first time ever on the Koffee couch, spilling the beans on their marriage, proposal and more.

Having a perfect wedding is indeed a task. Deepika Padukone scouted the location for her own wedding and planned it in a span of 8-10 months! Talking about this, Ranveer Singh said, “Deepika had taken some time out to curate the wedding and she went around the world to find that spot. It took her 8-10 months.”

Adding to this, Deepika Padukone said, “Ideally I would have loved for us to get married in India because we are both quite rooted like that. We came across this really beautiful location that worked well, it was Lake Como. The water means a lot to us, we love the sand and we love the sea. Having an Indian wedding on a beach is not the ideal thing, this worked out well because it had the nature and the water and it could hold just the amount of people we wanted there.”

In the episode, fans will get to see the first visuals of Deepika and Ranveer’s 2018 wedding for the first time ever. While the couple had a private wedding in 2018, an intimate affair with very close family and friends in attendance, fans will get to see a sneak peek from it after almost 5 years. While the photos that the couple released are still adored and are considered goals, the unseen footage from the wedding will definitely break the Internet. Ranveer also mentioned he had proposed to Deepika in 2015 and that they had been secretly engaged for all those years.

Koffee With Karan season 8 will kick off on October 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
