Koffee With Karan 7 featured the bromance between Phone Bhoot co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter who arrived on the show with Katrina Kaif. While host Karan Johar clarified on the current status of former couple Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday, he also spoke about how Siddhant is shooting with her for Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. While discussing these factors on the show, Siddhant Chaturvedi made a reference to the infamous ‘cheese platter’ Vijay Deverakonda who remained to be ‘hot’ topic of discussion between Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday.

In the Rapid Fire round with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Karan Johar asked him about the actresses he wished were single. To the same, the Gully Boy actor responded, “Janhvi, Sara, Ananya”. A perplexed Ishaan Khatter, who is reportedly their ex-boyfriend of Ananya, was surprised about the answer, as he asked, “Aren’t they?” On the other hand, Siddhant continued, “But unko sab ko cheese platter chahiye bhai. Paneer Chilli bhi koi desire karein. (They all want cheese platter. Someone should also desire paneer chilli.” Ishaan however trolled his co-star turned friend adding, “Tu cheez badi hai mast mast. Give me that.”

For the uninitiated, the ‘cheese platter’ was a reference to the discussion that was made during the Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan episode where they spoke about the hotness of Vijay Deverakonda. The same discussion came up once again when Vijay came on Koffee With Karan with Ananya.

Siddhant Chaturvedi made his Koffee debut this year as the actor earned immense fame for his performance in Gehraiyaan. Interestingly, the film featured him as Ananya’s fiancé where he was also seen romancing Deepika Padukone. Speaking of Phone Bhoot, the film is a horror comedy that is slated to release on November 4 this year.
