Khushi Kapoor, ready for her big-screen debut in Loveyapa alongside Junaid Khan, humbly shared in an interview with India Today Digital that she doesn't believe she can ever match her mother, the late Sridevi's, legendary legacy. Despite comparisons being drawn, including one by Aamir Khan during the film’s trailer launch, Khushi remains grounded and expresses her understanding of the immense legacy her mother left behind.

Khushi Kapoor reflected on the weight of her mother's legacy and said, “Shooting one film is like one whole lifetime of experience and knowledge. So, it is really nice to hear some positive feedback, but honestly, I don't think I would ever be able to touch my mother’s legacy or go anywhere near it.”

Khushi Kapoor expressed gratitude for the compliments, saying, “Although it was very nice to hear, it is a learning process. I am working hard every day. I would hope that people like my performance, so it does feel nice to hear compliments when people see growth and difference.”

Aamir Khan praised Khushi Kapoor’s performance at Loveyapa's trailer launch and said, “When I watched the film and saw Khushi (Kapoor), I felt that I was watching Sridevi. Her energy was there, I could see it. I am a huge fan of Sridevi.”

Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut with The Archies, which premiered on OTT and received a mixed response.

However, Loveyapa marks her first theatrical release, where she stars alongside Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, known for Secret Superstar, this romantic drama is set to hit the big screen on February 7. Fans are eager to see her shine in her first major film release.
