The recent episode of Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 was one to remember. Olympic medalists Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh were the special guests for the episode. The audience started cheering and clapping for the sports stars when they were welcomed by Amitabh Bachchan on the show .At the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh made Indians proud with their performances in javelin and hockey, respectively.
Before starting the quiz, a montage of clips from Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh's Olympics performances were played on screen and by the end of it, Amitabh Bachchan, two medalists and the audience were in tears. When Amitabh Bachchan asked Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh if he can touch their medals, the duo obliged and handed the medals to him. To which the actor said that he won't wear and that he won’t get to wear the medals in this life, just touching is more than enough for him.
On the show, Amitabh Bachchan also got some lessons in Haryanvi from Neeraj Chopra, who is from Haryana. The gold medalist made Big B repeat some of the famous Hindi dialogues in Haryanvi. When Amitabh Bachchan asked Neeraj Chopra to say a verse from his song ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum - Main Aur Meri Tanhaai Aksar Yeh Baatein Karte Hain, Tum Hoti To Kaisa Hota’ - from his film Silsila in Haryanvi, Neeraj's hilarious take on the track left Big B, PR Sreejesh and audience in splits.

He also showed some techniques of javelin to Amitabh Bachchan.In one segment of the show, Amitabh Bachchan also played hockey with PR Sreejesh and even scored a goal.Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh won Rs. 25, 00,000 on the show. The duo pledged to donate the money for a social cause.

Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin in men's final to a distance of 87.58m and won India's first-ever gold medal in athletics while PR Sreejesh, who is Indian men's national hockey team goalkeeper, and his team won a bronze medal after defeating Germany. It was a historic win for Indian men's national hockey team after 41 years.
